Back-end systems that keep working

I like the part of a product that has to keep working: the APIs, the data, and the logs you read when something breaks.

My main languages are Rust, Java and Python. When a product needs an app in front of it, I build it with Flutter or React.

During my internship I designed and built my faculty's official website and traced system errors back to their cause using logs and metrics. I graduated in August 2026 with a GPA of 3.63.

    • Designed and built the faculty's official website, improving its functionality, usability and accessibility.
    • Worked with faculty and staff to keep academic information and announcements up to date.
    • Worked with front-end developers so the server-side logic and the client-side code fit together.
    • Found the root cause of system errors from logs and metrics, then identified fixes.

A Japanese learning platform for Web and Android (zero to JLPT N1). Features 248 bilingual lessons, 3,175 SRS vocabulary flashcards (SM-2), Kana quizzes with audio, JLPT mock exams, and an optional Spring Boot cloud-sync backend on Railway.

Anti Karbit

A Telegram bot written in Rust (Axum) that identifies a character from an image by querying four reverse-image-search engines in parallel. Lookups take 2.8 s instead of 7.4 s in the earlier Python version. It has an HTMX dashboard and 64 automated tests.
